Confucius was a Chinese thinker and a philosopher and he deeply influenced Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese thought and life through his writings. He wrote mostly on government issues, subjects like morality, justice and sincerity. His teaching is found in Analects of Confucius which is a collection of “brief aphoristic fragments”. His full name is Kong Qiu and he was born on September 28, 551 BC in Qufu, China
