Ayn Rand was a Russian American Novelist. She was born on February 2 1905 and died on March 6, 1982. Along with the novelist she was a screen writer, a philosopher and a playwright. She was the first one who gave a philosophical system of Objectivism. She was born in a Jewish family and received her education from Russia. She mostly wrote on the subjects like individual rights etc which was more related to the political views. She was an atheist and she greatly promoted ethical egoism and strongly condemned altruism i.e. moral cannibalism.
